Gases: This type of gas would feel very warm because it has been boiled - like steam - you couldn't hold it or touch it - and it is constantly moving
Liquids: These liquids would feel like water - slippery, wet - you couldn't hold it-liquids change shape in whatever area it is in.
Solid: This solid would feel hard and rough and would be heavy to hold - you could see the particles and it can be compressed
Questions
What is sublimation? Sublimation is were the soild changes to a gas without becoming a liquid in between.

1. Why do icebergs float in antarctic and arctic waters? Do you think there is much of the iceberg under water or is it mostly above the water? How could you test your hypothesis? You could go to the arctic or antartic and take a photo of the ice berg above water and than go down of get a mechine to take a photo of below and compare.
2. When you have a jar with a very tight lid, you can run it under hot water and it becomes easier to open. Why? The jar opens under hot water because the metal expands under the heat makig it easier to open.
